• To operate PromotR — match you with events, venues, and hosts.
• To verify identity for hosts, promoters, and 21+ events.
• To send notifications you opt into (event reminders, requests, messages).
• To enforce our Terms and protect users from fraud and harassment.

Who sees what

• Your public profile (display name, handle, city, photo, bio) is visible to other members.
• Your DOB, email, phone, and ID photo are private and used only for verification.
• Hosts see your profile when you RSVP or apply to their events.

Payment data

Card details are handled by our payment processor. We never store full card numbers.

Your controls

• Edit or delete your profile from your account page.
• Manage notification preferences from your account settings.
• Request a full data export or account deletion by contacting us.

Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for a short period after closure for legal and fraud-prevention purposes.
